what we do

Our student-led team is aimed towards raising funds for women and girls who are unable to receive feminine products. As a team, we believe that every woman is deserving of proper feminine hygienic care. With our project, we hope to break barriers, one pad at a time!

What is the Issue?

In many places, especially in rural areas due to socio- economic and infrastructural barriers, many women face a lack of access to proper menstrual care, including sanitary products. Another issue is the social stigma attached to menstruation, with women on their periods being seen as dirty or unholy.

Maher Ashram

We are currently collaborating with Maher, a non-profit organization in India dedicated to the uplifting of rural communities by providing shelter and care to people in need. As part of our work with Maher, we have developed an outreach program for rural communities to address menstruation's facts and fallacies.

Around the World

As part of our effort to help women everywhere access products, we're also donating to shelters  around the world. So far, we've worked with organizations including Days4Girls, Amanina, HelpingGirlsPeriod, and EastSOS to send resources to women in Kenya, Israel, Ukraine, and around the US. We're striving to continue efforts in these regions and expand beyond!

How we Fundraise

To meet our goals, we host fundraisers and pad drives throughout the Bay Area at schools, markets, fairs, and other events where we can talk to people about our cause. We also have an online campaign through Givebutter that accepts all donations, large and small!
